We were proud to host, alongside @ThompsonsLaw and all our affiliated unions, this wonderful event to celebrate the Centenary of the @TUGroupOfLabMPs and mark the passing of the Employment Rights Act.
Labour was formed by the labour movement to elect workers to Parliament, to govern in the interests of working people and their communities - and the Trade Union Group of Labour MPs has spent 100 years holding Labour to that mission.

@LeeBarronMP paid tribute to Kenny Campbell Smart, who very sadly died at Corby Steel Works earlier this year, and raised the importance of strengthening health and safety laws to keep all workers safe.
