@Trunkit_ @Valeska_Loki Yep, this pretty much got it.

@tyrranKPX I actually get where you are coming from here, but after working on projects where I've needed to specifically compromise on texture work, I don't get getting too married to having low detail in certain environments.

[[Thunderthot, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] @TWindseeker]

@tyrranKPX Under a time crunch it is easy to do grey stone floor with a small amount of ambient occlusion, but a carpet requires a little more thought. Do you go all the way to the edge? How do you differentiate it from stone? Should you just work on a different texture?

@Rat_Kape @phantomSomnus I was wondering if anyone was going to mention the energy sword, but I didn't even think of the diamond sword. It feels silly to think about, but, there may be more people who recognize the diamond sword today than any of the others in the image.

I know Grandpa needs the iron lung, but when I look at the space I have to ask myself, does it spark joy?

This is specifically to benefit working families who happen to own Cruise and Casio stocks.

[Senate Republicans @SenateGOP]

America’s seniors will see a new $6,000 bonus exemption as a part of the Working Families Tax Cut.

That’s $93 billion in tax cuts for seniors all over the country.

I hate that from a mile away I feel like this will end up being like a 5/10 forgettable adaptation because Zelda probably won't work as well as a movie, but 10 year old me would not let me skip seeing it opening week.

Work has been getting a bit stale so I am thinking that maybe every week I should introduce the office to a new Juno position.

@prettywangs13 @jacob__titus You have to be located in an amazing location. Othwise, in 2025 there is no way you are actually finding better finds than this. If you do I'll be impressed though.

Relabeling my recent flight as a bike ride on my fitness app so that I can clear my heart point goal for the next two years.

I would like to think that the way that historians discuss the Spanish policy of dumping platinum into the sea based on its perceived uselessness will be seen in a similar light to my personal policy of dumping used car batteries into the sea to spite the AutoZone guy.

[[Thunderthot, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] @TWindseeker]

@charliegreenman @sama It seemed kind of interesting at first but the more I think about it now I think I might be missing who it is supposed to help.

[[Thunderthot, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] @TWindseeker]

@charliegreenman @sama It seems great for middle and upper class people, since with that $800 after 10 years someone at the median individual income can cover maybe a month's rent with the capital gains, but someone just squeezing into the top bracket could use just capital gains to buy a nice used car

[[Thunderthot, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] @TWindseeker]

@charliegreenman @sama 2% of income for someone with low income both is not a ton of investment, and might be needed more to cover bills and food.

Unless I am misunderstanding the idea, it seems like it would offer the largest tax advantage to those who already have a large income/ need less help

[[Thunderthot, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] @TWindseeker]

@charliegreenman @sama I don't think I've ever seen this suggestion before. I like the general concept of strongly encouraging people to at least dip their toes into investing. But, it doesn't feel like an alternative to UBI since UBI suggestions are usually aimed at aiding those with low income but

They are taking me to the vet to put my down because I've got that dog in me and apparently he's sick as shit 😎

I'm not a financial advisor, but I think I am done buying broad-based ETFs until they change the name. I get they were named in New York, but it's 2025, they are called ladies.
