I remember playing Bryce Harper in Atlanta. I was 18 and he was 16. His dad was soft tossing kidney beans and he was hitting them with a skinny bat before the game. He went 0-4 that day, but it obviously worked and no matter if you spend $11 on a lb of kidney beans and a broom stick or $1,100 a month on your son he is still not going to be a Bryce Harper so I’d try to budget closer to the $11.

Why aren’t any of these at risk hospitals publishing their full accounting so everyone can see where they spend their money ?

All but one group of hospitals that I have looked at potentially investing in, spend so much on consultants and fees that it’s no wonder they are at risk

Plus, I have NEVER seen an industry that is worse than hospitals when it comes to buying medications and items like implants, screws, other devices. They overpay for everything.

And then when you show them how to save money, their “supply chain” employees resist any change.

They are so set in their ways, it’s a shock more don’t go out of business.

Prove me wrong.

* Authoritarian delight in nanny state intrusiveness (policing the beach and such).
* 180 on many issues around BLM.
* Lack of effective response from science funding bodies.
* Denial of aerosolized transmission.
* Changing of trial readouts so that they’d occur after the election. (Confirmed to me by senior OWS officials.)
* Crazy criteria for vaccine distribution.
* Adamant insistence on vaccine efficacy beyond what was supported by data.
* Almost complete lack of follow-through on OWS (on pan-variant vaccines).

I’m sure there are more, but those are the ones that stick out.

This is misreporting. The CAFE standards being cut are what (unintentionally) made vehicles massive. As written, emissions standards are pegged to footprint (base x track).

Under these regs, manufacturers made vehicles huge to hit easier standards.

Hugh Freeze has stepped down as Auburn's head Football Coach after a meeting with John Cohen at noon today. A source confirmed there were multiple attempts to negotiate a buyout after the Mizzou loss which were rejected by Coach Freeze.

After the loss to Kentucky, a deal was reached to accept a reduced buyout last night in return for Hugh Freeze to step down. Working to confirm the exact numbers on what was accepted but it appears the university was prepared to litigate if need be.
