@Cabney18@Cabney18 you may be confusing training with performance. If an athlete cannot demonstrate the ability to hit low/away or up/in pitch in training then how do you expect them to perform in the game?
@Cabney18 irony here is, when you on plane % is high your window for square contact goes up aka matching bat plane with pitch plane becomes less important but still important

on plane = vertical bat angle : Spine angle ( 90 * )
on plane % = how long bat to body relationship is 90* from start of swing to contact
Match vertical bat angle with pitch plane & path + good timing = square contact
