South Carolina, I want to share why fighting for victims is personal to me. As a career prosecutor, I’ve fought for justice for victims of domestic violence, including securing life without parole for an abuser who took a young woman’s life.
As your Attorney General, I’ll continue fighting for victims and holding violent criminals accountable.
Early voting is now underway, and I would be honored to earn your vote!
📺NEW AD:
While Nancy Lacore criticizes law enforcement - her radical, defund-the-police friends are pouring millions into the district to try to win this race!
Nancy's extreme agenda is in stark contrast to the Lowcountry values I was raised on and raised my family on!🇺🇸
Proud to announce my office has signed on to @VP@JDVance's Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud.
We're committed to protecting taxpayers, rooting out fraud, and holding those who abuse taxpayer-funded programs accountable. @WHFraudTF
One of the greatest moments in Capitol history.
When Laura Loomer attempted to disrupt a hearing, Missouri Rep. Bill Long, who is a real auctioneer, began calling a fake auction to drown her out until she was escorted her out.
He then yields to laughter.
25 years ago, Queen Elizabeth broke with tradition and ordered the US National Anthem played at Buckingham Palace.
Today, by command of The King, that same anthem rang out again on the anniversary of 9/11.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester stood in for His Majesty, joined by US Ambassador Warren Stephens.
Never forget. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Today, among thousands of people crossing the Mackinac Bridge, I watched two firefighters in full gear running that bridge carrying flags.✨🇺🇸✨
And something about it hit me differently.
Carrying the weight of their gear, carrying those flags and carrying something much bigger than either.
A reminder, there are people who willingly carry heavy things so the rest of us don't have to.
It honestly did something to my heart.
We get so caught up in arguing,
complaining, judging, and worrying about things that won't matter someday.
🇺🇸 September 14, 2001. Ground Zero.
President Bush climbed onto a wrecked fire truck with a retired FDNY man named Bob Beckwith and a bullhorn.
A worker in the pile yelled that he could not hear him.
Bush: “I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!”

Proud to stand alongside Superintendent @ellenfored in calling on every South Carolina school to pause tomorrow at 8:46 AM.
For a generation born after September 11th, it is our responsibility to tell the story, honor the heroes, and ensure America never forgets.
