⚠️ WARNING - Google Chrome Zero-Day Alert!
A new exploit is hitting users right now — CVE-2025-6558 lets attackers break out of the browser sandbox.
Update Chrome ASAP → https://t.co/3oy1UjWjG8
(Edge, Brave, Opera users: you're not safe either.)
@sasuke___420 To make sure I'm not being unclear, this is what I mean:
struct A { i64 a1; i8 a2; };
struct B { i8 b1; }
struct C { A a; B b; }; // when this is written
struct C_manual { i64 a1; i8 b1; i8 a2; } // the compiler could make this
Iff the compiler controls the layout (Rust/Zig).
@sasuke___420 You’re misunderstanding or I am. I mean nest A inside of B when they are both inside some other struct C when the size/alignment of A fits within the padding inside B.
@sasuke___420@scheminglunatic My guess is it’s either because it’s part of the standard or just a convention that the ordering is as you write it and changing that would break a lot.
@stalequant Just to let you know if it's not obvious or I'm misreading things, but, this situation sounds a bit suspicious on both sides. I'd seek clarification. Have a good trip though!
@laurentzeimes @ekrii3 It sounds legal. Somewhat unrelated but in many cities including where I live you’re on at least one camera 100% of the time already.
@stalequant Scanning it maybe it’s better to view it as shifting processing power elsewhere. First time this occurred to me. I knew (and felt) the decline a long time ago.
@Vertox_DF Besides what everyone else said, how excited you are for the day is a large factor. In some way at least if you want to wake up early, you will. A cold room is very helpful for me. Idk about coffee/light ref length but they hurt quality in excess.
