My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim
Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.
This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

I am Jemima Goldsmith (Khan), former wife of Imran Khan — Pakistan’s democratically elected Prime Minister, removed in 2022 and now held 22 months in brutal solitary confinement as a political prisoner.
Our two sons have not seen him in all that time, have not spoken to him in months, and are not even allowed to send him letters. His name is banned from every Pakistani TV and radio station. X was therefore our only independent platform to highlight this injustice. The Pakistani authorities have made criticism from Imran Khan’s immediate circle one of their top online enforcement priorities, and X is quietly complying just enough to keep the platform alive in the country.”
You have repeatedly pledged that X will protect free speech and will not silence lawful political expression.
Yet Grok has examined my X analytics (3.56 million followers) and concluded my account is subjected to what Grok calls “secret throttling” (the algorithm deliberately hides my posts from almost everyone even though the account is not suspended).
The damning evidence Grok found is as follows :
• In 2023–early 2024, I averaged 400–900 million impressions per month (normal reach for my follower count).
• But in the entire 2025, impressions dropped to only 28.6 million total — a 97% crash to <3% of expected reach.
• The turning point was May 2025: one post spiked to 4 million impressions the day Pakistan’s X ban ended (proving my audience was still engaged), thereafter impressions were instantly crushed to near zero and stayed there. These numbers & assessments are all verbatim from Grok.

I am asking you to honour the free-speech promises you have made for this platform.

“Asim Munir is a mentally unstable person whose moral degradation has led to the complete collapse of the Constitution and the rule of law in Pakistan, leaving the fundamental human rights of every Pakistani unprotected.

My wife and I have been imprisoned on fabricated charges at his command, and we are being subjected to severe psychological torment. I have been completely isolated in a cell, placed in solitary confinement. For four weeks I was not permitted to see a single human being, and I was kept entirely cut off from the outside world. Even the basic necessities guaranteed under the jail manual have been denied to us.

Despite the orders of the High Court, first my meetings with my political colleagues were prohibited, and now even my meetings with my lawyers and family have been stopped. Any human rights charter will show that psychological torture is classified as 'torture', and it is regarded as even more severe than physical abuse.

My sister Noreen Niazi was dragged on the road simply because she demanded her rightful meeting with me. Only a man like Asim Munir could sanction such conduct. He has imprisoned Dr. Yasmin Rashid, an elderly cancer survivor, purely out of political vengeance. My wife, Bushra Begum, has been imprisoned only to exert pressure on me. Even her children are not allowed to meet her, and she has been deprived of all facilities. These examples reveal the character and mental disposition of this man.

Enduring solitary confinement is extremely painful, but I am bearing it only for the sake of my nation. Until the nation itself breaks the chains of slavery, the mafias imposed on Pakistan will continue to exploit it. The extension mafia, land mafia, sugar mafia, and mandate-thief mafia will keep this nation enslaved until the people themselves rise. Today you are their slaves; your future generations will be slaves to their generations. If you want to break this cycle, the nation must break the chains of enslavement itself and stand up for Haqeeqi Azadi (genuine freedom).

There is no place in my party for those who play on both sides of the wicket. Such people are the ‘Mir Sadiq’ and ‘Mir Jafar’ of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The participation of PTI individuals in the NDU workshop is shameful. On one hand, we are enduring all kinds of hardships, and on the other hand, when our own people socialise with those who oppress us, it causes me deep pain.

I have always stated that drone attacks and military operations on our own people only fuels terrorism. Asim Munir’s policies are disastrous for this country. It is because of his policies that the scourge of terrorism has spiraled out of control, which deeply grieves me. He has no regard for the interests of his own nation. Whatever he is doing is merely to please the Western world. He deliberately ignited tensions with Afghanistan seeking to portray himself internationally as a ‘mujahid’ (warrior). He first threatened Afghans, then expelled refugees by force, and conducted drone strikes on them; the consequences of which came in the form of rising terrorism inside Pakistan. This man has sacrificed the country to terrorism for his own personal interests.

Sohail Afridi is commendable because he chose resistance over reconciliation during repressive times. My message to Sohail Afridi is to continue playing on the front foot. There is no law or constitution in this country. The law is invoked only against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf; everyone else remains exempt. Whatever Sohail Afridi is doing, he should continue. He has my full support.

As for those issuing threats of Governor’s Rule: impose it right away instead of waiting, and then see consequences for themselves!

The two main objectives of the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report were to identify those responsible for the tragedy and to point out mistakes.

I referred to the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report so that we could learn from past mistakes.

In the context of the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report, the criticism of General Yahya Khan is based on his political decision-making.

General Yaqub and Admiral Ahsan, stationed in East Pakistan, advised Yahya Khan against military action in East Pakistan, for which they had to resign.

The constitution binds the military to stay completely out of politics so they can perform their professional duties without facing criticism.

The Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report clearly states that General Yahya Khan was fully engaged in political decision-making.

Political decisions are criticized worldwide, and democracy fully protects such criticism.

A military head is not elected or appointed through a referendum, so it is in the military's best interest, as mandated by the constitution, to keep itself and its leadership away from politics and political decisions.

When a military head gets involved in politics or makes political decisions, he steps out of his position and into the political arena.

Yahya Khan's decision of not transferring power to a government with a decisive majority and public mandate, and letting the country face a tragic incident, were his decisions.

The situation rapidly deteriorated into internal chaos and division because the public mandate was not respected, resulting in the country's split.

Pakistan and its military paid a heavy price for Yahya Khan's involvement and interest in political decision-making.

After making political decisions and getting deeply involved in politics, it was impossible for General Yahya Khan to hide behind the military, so both the Hamoodur Rahman Commission and history have critically evaluated his role.

The extraordinary similarity between the events of the 1970s and today's situation is a cause for concern for every sensible Pakistani.

In the 1970s, the country was divided; today, our economy is in ruins with minimal chances of improvement,

The attempt to revive the economy through the SIFC has failed miserably.

Crushing the country's largest and most publicly mandated party through lawlessness will not improve the economy.

The FIA should investigate who abducted Azhar Mashwani's brothers and for what crime.

Social media workers are our heroes and assets of the nation, and the harassment of them and their families should stop.

The chances of economic improvement will only arise when the public mandate is respected, and decision-making is entrusted to democratically elected representatives with the public mandate”- Imran Khan.

غلامی لوگوں کو چھوٹا کر دیتی ہے اور چھوٹے لوگ کبھی بڑا کام نہیں کر سکتے ۔ انسان کی غیرت اور آزادی مل کر اسے ایک بڑا انسان بناتے ہیں ۔ نبیِ محترم ﷺ دنیا کے سب سے بڑے انسان اور سب سے بڑے Achiever ہیں ۔ انہوں نے لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ کا کلمہ پڑھوا کر اپنے لوگوں کو آزاد کر دیااور اس آزادی نے ان لوگوں کو جنہیں دنیا اَن پڑھ اور بَدُو کہہ کر پکارا کرتی تھی انہیں دنیا کی سب سے عظیم اور طاقتور ترین قوم بنا دیا ۔ اس وقت رسالت مآب ﷺ کی قیادت میں قائم ہونے والی مدینہ کی ریاست اور اس میں آنے والے انقلاب کو صحیح طرح سے سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے ۔ اسی طرح رسول محترم ﷺ کے دنیا کی امامت کے فلسفے کا مطالعہ کریں تو وہ سارے عوامل کھل کر سامنے آجاتے ہیں جن کے باعث مسلمانوں نے 636 عیسوی میں یرموک کے مقام پر دنیا کی ایک سُپر طاقت رومن امپائر کو شکست دی جبکہ اس سے ایک سال بعد 637 عیسوی میں دوسری عالمی طاقت سلطنتِ فارس (Persian Empire) کو پچھاڑا ۔

حمود الرحمٰن کمیشن رپورٹ 1971 کےالمناک سانحے کا نہایت جامعیت سے احاطہ کرتی ہے۔ حمود الرحمٰن کمیشن رپورٹ کے مطابق فردِ واحد یحییٰ خان نے اپنی طاقت بڑھانے کی خاطر فوج کو ناقابلِ تلافی نقصان پہنچایا۔ اس شخص نے اپنی ضد اور انا کی وجہ سے فوج سے ہتھیار ڈلوائے ، رپورٹ کے مطابق ہماری فوج نے جنگ کے میدان میں تو خوب مقابلہ کیا لیکن فردِواحد یحییٰ خان نے فوج کی ساری کوشش پر پانی پھیر دیا۔ ہنری کسنجر نے اپنی کتاب میں ذکر کیا ہے کہ فردِواحد یحییٰ خان پانچ سال کیلئے فوج اور ملک دونوں کا سربراہ بننا چاہتا تھا جس کیلئے اس نے اپنا علیحدہ آئین بھی تیار کروا رکھا تھا ۔ فردِواحد یحییٰ خان نے فوج کو اس قدر نقصان پہنچایا کہ فوج کو خود اسے ہٹانا پڑا.

جمہوریت کی بنیاد اخلاقیات پر ہوتی ہے ۔ جب کسی معاشرے میں اخلاقیات نہ رہیں تو وہاں جمہوریت کا تصور نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔جمہوریت میں عوام کو اپنے نمائندے خود چننے کا حق سب سے بنیادی ترین حق ہے ۔ پاکستان میں جس طرح سے جمہوریت اور اخلاقیات کی دھجیاں اڑائی گئیں اس کی تفصیلات قوم کے سامنے ہیں جبکہ نگران وزیر اعظم انوار الحق کاکڑ کے 8 فروری کے انتخابات کے حوالے سے خیالات اور اس سے پہلے راولپنڈی کے کمشنر کا اعترافی بیان پاکستان میں جمہوریت کی حقیقت بیان کرنے کیلئےکافی ہے ۔اس وقت پاکستان میں صرف ایک جمہوری حکومت قائم ہے اور وہ خیبرپختونخوا کی حکومت ہے۔ پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی خیبرپختونخوا میں حکومت کے تحت پورے صوبے میں کسی بھی سیاسی جماعت پر کوئی بھی سیاسی سرگرمی کرنے پر کوئی پابندی نہیں۔ اس سے پہلے جب مرکز میں پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی جمہوری حکومت قائم تھی تو ہماری مخالف سیاسی جماعتوں کی جانب سےکیے جانے والے احتجاجی مظاہروں یا سیاسی اجتماعات کے موقع پر نہ تو ان کے راستے روکے گئے ،نہ ہی ان پر کسی قسم کا تشدد کیا گیااور نہ ہی ان کے خلاف کوئی مقدمہ قائم کیا گیا۔ خیبرپختونخوا کے علاوہ پاکستان بھر میں قائم فارم 47 کی حکومتیں تحریک انصاف کی ہر پُرامن جمہوری اور قانونی سیاسی سرگرمی کی راہ روکتی ہیں، ہمارے کارکنوں کو بدترین ہراسگی اور تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا جاتا ہے اور ان کے خلاف جھوٹے مقدمات کی بھرمار کی جاتی ہے۔

کرپٹ حکمران اشرافیہ کے مفادات کے تحفظ کیلئے ملک سے جمہوریت اور اخلاقیات کو تباہ کیا جاتا ہے چنانچہ یہی وجہ ہےکہ جو بھی پاکستان میں حکمرانی کے منصب پر پہنچا اس نے لوٹ کھسوٹ کر کے پیسہ باہر بھیجا ۔ اس کی تازہ ترین مثال وزیر داخلہ ہے۔ دبئی لیکس پر محسن نقوی کو جوابدہ ہونا ہو گا اور قوم کواپنی اہلیہ کی جائیداد کی منی ٹریل دینا ہو گی اور قوم کو بتانا ہو گا کہ جب محسن نقوی اور اس کی بیوی کا سارا کاروبار پاکستان میں ہے تو جائیداد کی خریداری کیلئے پیسہ باہر کیسے منتقل ہوا۔ اسی طرح اسے گندم اسکینڈل کا بھی جواب دینا ہو گا۔

جیل کے اندر انسان کو اپنے رَبّ سے قریب ہونے اور خالق سے تعلق قائم کرنے کا موقع ملتا ہے ۔ جیل میں میں نے اپنی ضروریات کو محدود کر لیا ہے جس سے جیل میں رہنا اب مشکل نہیں۔ میں یہ سمجھتا ہوں کہ جب آپ اپنی خواہشات کی غلامی چھوڑ دیتے ہیں تو آپ آزاد ہو جاتے ہیں اور آزاد لوگ آزاد فیصلے کرتے ہیں ۔

مشکل وقت میں سوشل میڈیا ٹیم کی خدمات بے مثال ہیں، جیل میں بند ہونے کی وجہ سے کمیونیکیشن کے مسائل ضرور آئے ہیں لیکن مجھے اپنی سوشل میڈیا ٹیم پر بھرپور اعتماد ہے اور میں اپنی ٹیم کے کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں۔ تمام سوشل میڈیا ورکرز کو میرا سلام ہے۔

پاکستان تحریک انصاف وفاق کی سب سے بڑی اور مقبول ترین جماعت ہے جس کی سیاسی جدوجہد نہایت تابناک ہے اپنی اٹھائیس سالہ سیاسی جدوجہد کے دوران پاکستان تحریک انصاف نے ایک پرامن جماعت کے طور پر ہمیشہ ملک میں آئین کی بالادستی، قانون کی حکمرانی اور ملک میں عدل و انصاف کے فروغ کو اپنی پہچان بنایا۔

9 مئی کو جس فالس فلیگ آپریشن کے ذریعے تحریک انصاف کو کچلنے کی کوشش کی گئی وہ سب پہلے سے طے شدہ تھا 9 مئی 2023 کی حقیقت قوم پر پوری طرح واضح ہے اور اگر کوئی سمجھتا ہے کہ طاقت کے اندھے استعمال اور ریاستی وسائل کے بل بوتے پر وہ حقیقت کو جھٹلا سکتا ہے تو یقیناً بڑی غلط فہمی کا شکار ہے چنانچہ

میں ایک مرتبہ پھر دہراتا ہوں کہ

•قوم کو بتایا جائے کہ 9 مئی 2023 کو کس کے حکم پر مجھے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ سے نیم فوجی مسلح دستے کے ذریعے اغواء کیا گیا۔

• کس کے حکم پر اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ سے سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج چرائی گئی ۔

• کس کے حکم پر میرے پرتشدد اغواء کے خلاف پرامن احتجاج کرنے والے نہتے شہریوں پر گولیاں برسائی گئیں ۔

• کس کے حکم پر مقتولین کے اہل خانہ کو ڈرایا دھمکایا گیا اور اپنے پیاروں کے قتل کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی سے باز رکھنے کے لیے ان پر دباؤ ڈالا گیا ۔
• کس کے حکم پر کور کمانڈر ہاوس اور کینٹ کی سیکورٹی ہٹائی گئی؟

9مئی کے واقعات کو تاریخ کے آئینے میں دیکھتا ہوں تو مجھے 1971 کے واقعات سے واضح مماثلت دکھائی دیتی ہے چوبیس مارچ 1971 کو اس وقت کا حکمران یحییٰ خان سیاسی فریقین سے مزاکرات کے لیے ڈھاکہ میں موجود تھا مگر مزاکرات کی کامیابی میں ہرگز سنجیدہ نہ تھا چنانچہ 24 گھنٹوں کے اندر اندر یعنی 25 مارچ کو مشرقی پاکستان میں فل سکیل فوجی آپریشن لانچ کر دیا گیا۔اسی طرز پر 9 مئی کو ایک فالس فلیگ آپریشن کے تحت پہلے مجھے ہائی کورٹ سے اغواء کیا گیا اور پھر پورے ملک سے ہمارے ہزاروں کارکنان کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا یہ سب کچھ پہلے سے طے شدہ تھا ۔

پورے کا پورا ریاستی نظام جھوٹ اور فراڈ پر کھڑا ہے سابق چیف جسٹس عمر عطا بندیال نے 14 مئی کو الیکشن کرانے کا حکم دیا تو دھرنے احتجاج اور لانگ مارچز کے ذریعے ان کو دھمکایا گیا جس پر انہوں نے معاملہ جرگے کے سپرد کیا۔ جرگے میں یہ بات واضح طور پر بیان کی گئی کہ نواز شریف تب تک واپس نہیں آئے گا جب تک قاضی فائز عیسیٰ چیف جسٹس نہیں بنتا ۔

نگران وزیراعظم کاکڑ نے حکومتی جماعت کے ایک رکن کو فارم 47 کا طعنہ دے کر نہ صرف سارے راز کا پردہ چاک کردیا ہے بلکہ ہمارے موقف کو بھی درست ثابت کیا ہے ۔ اس سے پہلے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے 6 ججز کے خط اور کمشنر راولپنڈی کے اعترافی بیان نے ساری حقیقت قوم کے سامنے کھول کر رکھ دی۔

یہ سب کچھ اس لندن پلان کے تحت جس کے واضح طور پر تین اہداف تھے
نمبر 1 مجھے جیل میں ڈالا جائے
نمبر 2 نواز شریف کے کیسز معاف کیے جائیں
نمبر 3 تحریک انصاف کو کرش کیا جائے۔

اس پلان پر عملدرآمد میں چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان اور چیف الیکشن کمشنر واضح طور پر بطور سہولت کار دن رات مصروف عمل ہیں اسی پلان کے تحت میرے خلاف سینکڑوں جھوٹے مقدمات قائم کیے گئے جبکہ زرداری ،نواز اور ان کے بچوں کے کیسز کو معاف کر دیا گیا ۔

ملک میں میڈیا پر اس قدر پابندیاں عائد ہیں کہ کوئی آواز نہیں نکلتی تاہم اس کے باوجود گندم کا سکینڈل باہر آ چکا ہے اگر میڈیا پر پابندیاں عائد نہ کی جاتیں تو اب تک نہ جانے کتنے ہی سکینڈلز سامنے آجاتے ہم اپنے کسانوں سے یک جہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں ریاست پہلے ہی کسانوں کو کچھ نہیں دیتی اب ان سے ان کی محنت کا صلہ بھی چھینا جارہا ہے۔

ان کے سارے منصوبے اللہ کے حکم سے خاک میں مل رہے ہیں اور عوام حقیقت کو اپنی آنکھوں کے سامنے دیکھ رہی ہے یہی وجہ ہے کہ 8 فروری کے عام انتخابات میں عوام نے انہیں بری طرح شکست دی ۔
