@SpaceX@NASA Interesting timing of this:
METEOR CONFIRMED! #NASA says the fireball flying over Ohio skies was caused by a small asteroid nearly 6 feet in diameter and weighing about 7 tons - moving 45,000 mph! The $meteor then "fragmented" over #Ohio. Thanks Dart?
Struggling to wrap my head around this. Tim Tebow gave Congress a map with 338,000+ unique IP addresses in the United States that have traded/shared images of children being sexually abused in the past 6 months and NOBODY is talking about it.
The most important fight of my life isn’t in the ring.
I’m not fighting for a belt. I’m fighting for our health.
Processed foods are killing us. We have been lied to and we need to eat real food again.
@ronrule@donedall@elonmusk 1. This is software that can be transferred in a few clicks.
2. The issue is that Elon is basically saying they’ll continue to raise the sub price as it gets better. Which means we could wake up the day after purchasing and Tesla can change the price to $2k per month.
@donedall@elonmusk This is my dilemma as well.
At this point, I can only assume they absolutely will not let us transfer it more than once. Then it will be phased out and we will be forced into the “you’ll own nothing” platform.
@TheSpitBucket@elonmusk Until one day you wake up and he’s decided it’s $2500 per month.
I agree it make the car safer than anything else on the road, but …. That should lend to them being more apt of it being included in every Tesla and that’s a reason to buy one.
@Bubblebathgirl@elonmusk Not for $2500 per month…. And they could easily wake up one morning and decide to do that. As well as lock you out from even starting the car if you don’t pay it.
It’s a stretch. But as a Tesla owner and this recent announcement, I don’t put it past them.
@elonmusk Absolutely horrible decision. As a Tesla owner this is greedy and disgusting. Tesla’s being in FSD is one of the safest things you have. You should make it more affordable as the tech advances and everyone will want to own one once they see how incredibly safe it is.
@KamGuo08@GrindeOptions What about $300, then $500, then $1000.
Ever seen a company lower their subscription cost to current customers? Doesn’t happen. It always goes up and unfortunately that’s what he’s saying. It truly sucks for us Tesla owners.
@ManlyMarshall@GrindeOptions What about if he makes it non transferable. That is the part I am also fighting with. We planned on trading up in 3 years.
@MDrNnrzc4vD39b6 @ManlyMarshall Ask Elon if he cares though. This announcement is pure greed.
He can raise the price at any time, just like cutting off the one time pay. They can also start taking away features and putting them behind a pay wall, at any point… which they just proved with lane assist.
@M1keeuk@GrindeOptions Problem is Musk is saying standard FSD is going to raise. So he could raise it to the cost of a car payment; for it to nag at us.
