Pakistani Taliban repeats their demand of ending tribal areas merger with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. #TTP told this to a Jirga sent by #Pakistan military to Kabul. Afg Taliban are facilitating these talks.

Radio Maimana in Faryab province shuts down. This is 8th media outlets that stops broadcasting in last 3 months.
The Taliban have suffocated media channels with bans and restrictions. Many outlets have no source of income which adds to their problems.

Locals says Pakistani jet fighters hit a mosque and a house. There was no one at the mosque but at least 8 people are killed in the house including 2 women.
No official word from #Pakistan military yet. Afg Taliban who were very vocal in their resistance to fencing, are silent.

As #TTP mounts its attacks, #Pakistan jet fighters bombarded Pasa Mela, Korrai & Mirsafar areas in Khost #Afghanistan.

Locals say 8 members of one family believed to be from Waziristan were killed. Khost is home to 1000s of displaced Waziristanis.

Pak NSA canceled his trip to Kabul ahead of planned anti #Pakistan protests in Kabul. Taliban arrested Azaem Azemi for arranging these protests.
Taliban also detained Hakim Ulfat for his Facebook posts in Kandahar. Ulfat criticized Taliban for using Pak plated cars.
