1. Appoint a qualified administrator to lead the agency.
2. Make @FEMA a Cabinet level agency to increase visibility and importance within the government.
3. Fully fund @FEMA to restore its capabilities to 2024 levels.
4. Prioritize helping survivors rebuild their homes over replacing uninsured public infrastructure.
5. Deploy active duty military beyond the state @USNationalGuard Guard to enhance FEMA's / State response capabilities. During Last Year Hurricane it took 2 weeks before @DeptofWar Troops and Helicopters were deployed, our National Guard Do great Job but we should used nearest @DeptofWar Helicopters , Troops , Ships and Logistics to assist the State @USNationalGuard . Hurricane response requires a lot of Logistics support, the N G is thin on logistics and currently relies on other states to come help , Hurricane Alley Has the Largest Number of American troops , aircraft, ships and logistics.
