These trainees are getting their first real taste of the teamwork required to keep an Abrams tank in the fight. It’s cramped, it’s hot, and it requires absolute trust in the #Soldier sitting next to you.
Forging the next generation of tankers right here at #FortBenning.
Part 1 of 5. Building Systems.
For 251 years, the Army has changed to meet the needs of the Nation.
Today, that means changing the way we build. We are fixing the systems behind the force, investing where it matters, and moving faster so Soldiers have what they need to win.
From the jungles of Hawaii to the tundra of Alaska, America's rugged terrain keeps our Soldiers ready.
Join us as we celebrate Freedom 250, from sea to shining sea. 🇺🇸
Building strong. Standing ready. Essayons!
️For nearly 200 years, USACE has been on the ground in Sodus Point, N.Y., reducing the threat of natural disasters. @USACEHQ doesn't just help communities recover, they help them prepare, protect, and stand resilient against the elements.
250 years of freedom in the books, and many more ahead thanks to the U.S. Army's innovation 🇺🇸

82 years ago today, nearly 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, launching the liberation of Europe.
We are free because they were brave. 🇺🇸
It was great to finally be outdoors for Twilight Tattoo yesterday! Being able to do the show outdoors on Summerall Field allows us to give the audience the full experience, including firing by the Presidential Salute Battery, the inclusion of an ISV (Infantry Squad Vehicle) and HMMWVs (known as Humvees), and George Washington is able to ride in on horseback. But no matter if Twilight Tattoo is presented indoors or outdoors, our Soldiers provide the same ceremonial and musical precision each week as we tell audiences about the history of the Army Soldier and the flag we have fought to defend for 250 years.
Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan, commanding general of U.S. Army Materiel Command, hosted this week's Twilight Tattoo, and we really appreciate the great support he and the AMC team provided us this week! As part of the pre‑show, audience members interacted with U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command static displays. CASCOM participated to highlight Army sustainment capabilities that enable Soldier and unit readiness.
We still have tickets for our remaining four shows for the season! Next week we will be celebrating the @USArmy's 251st birthday, complete with a UH-60 helicopter flyover and parachute demonstration by the U.S. Army Golden Knights! For tickets to the June 10th show, visit: https://t.co/q35yKRxozE

Spent last week with the Soldiers, engineers, and innovators shaping the future fight.
From testing at White Sands to connecting our systems through Operation Jailbreak, the Army is moving fast.
And we’re just getting started.
Moving as one cohesive team. @USArmy#TropicLightning & the Philippine Army clear an objective during #JPMRCX. By synchronizing maneuvers to SEE, SENSE, & STRIKE, we build the interoperable land power required to respond to any crisis. #Salaknib

From the California deserts to the Texas Hill Country and beyond, our Soldiers train across America to stay ready for any mission or environment they may face.
Which warm-weather training ground would you rather take on: Fort Irwin, California, or Fort Hood, Texas?
