Outside of the far-right cesspit that is X, virtually nobody is describing what's happening in France as "Muslim riots" or "migrant riots."

Around 800,000 people took to the streets yesterday, the overwhelming majority peacefully protesting against soaring living costs, failing public services and a system that is ripping ordinary people off. And yes, the vast majority of those protesters were white.

Were Muslims and migrants among the protesters? Of course. Were some involved in the violence? Quite possibly. But even the French authorities aren't blaming Muslims or migrants. They're pointing the finger at ultra-left groups (majority white).

And let's not conveniently ignore the police brutality we've witnessed.

The far right thrives on lies, distortion and scapegoating. They'll tell you black is white and white is black if it helps them demonise Muslims and immigrants.
