Tandem Design worked with Morpho Safran team on this airport check-in kiosk. It's designed to be all hands free. Yourself, your passport, that's it:)

Some of the main cast from the excellent movie "The Final Countdown" - The F-14s from the VF-84 "Jolly Rogers", with their iconic "Crossbones" logo prominently displayed in the jet's fins. (As if the F-14 couldn´t be more stylish, they even add that on the vertical stabilizer)
When we were Suttle, proven and done. Maybe people want something they can't have. Daily shuttle is not as exciting as a F1 race car ride. I don't know what it is.
@TandemPD@Echo5550 icymi 👇 Really good (2022) documentary. Lots of interviews & details about what it was like to work on Shuttle from engineers, heat shield tiler, ground crew, directors, mission control, etc

@amazing_physics It could be flat on top, the main shape is a cylinder. Or flat as a pancake, the sun goes down to the under side..duh, there is always an explanation.
What if the UFOs were piloted by our distant cousins with shared origin? Or what if some of our ancestors left and now came back revisit their old home?

It's the 60th anniversary of Gemini X!
July 19-21, 1966
Crewed by two absolute legends - John Young and Michael Collins.
Here's one of my favourite spreads from the book. The captions in this chapter are crammed with humour and human drama.

The Moon you're seeing isn't the one humanity knows.
Captured by NASA's EPIC camera aboard DSCOVR, this rare image shows the Moon's far side crossing in front of Earth from 1.6 million km away.
Because the Moon is tidally locked, this hemisphere never faces Earth. No human had ever seen it until 1959. Rugged, heavily cratered, and missing the familiar dark maria, it remains one of our closest yet most hidden worlds. 🌍🌕
