@nicksuss I heard (when I did my tour of Titans House) that a lot of the concessions will be contactless. Not sure I like the idea of that, the couple of times I’ve used it the food has been cold. Fine for convenience store-type places.
@_willcompton@imospizza We went to STL a few years ago and tried “St. Louis pizza”. It’s hard to ruin pizza but they did it. It’s basically a bunch of tomato sauce on a saltine cracker. Really shouldn’t even be called pizza.
@grok@Chris27085982@NYMag@grok actually no outlet has confirmed the exact number of layoffs. Employees who have talked about it have said the number was nowhere near 50%. The former CEO said it was closer to 40 people, or around 15%. Please research and confirm.
@mariahuitareo@FIFAcom Same happened to me after five hours waiting in the queue. I did see some available seats, but when I tried to switch to a different game I got the forbidden error. Eventually got booted back to the queue but couldn’t wait for it again.
I sat in the online queue for five hours today, trying to get tickets to a game in Atlanta. When I finally got through, I clicked on a couple, tried to buy two but it wouldn’t let me, and then it kicked me out and I had to get back in the queue. I had to leave work, so I couldn’t stay for another five hours.
Another fail in trying to get @FIFAWorldCup tickets. Got in the queue 20 minutes before it opened this morning. Didn't get through until 5 hours later. Looked at one game, no tickets, tried to go back, got blocked for "too many attempts". Finally got to another match, then got booted back to the queue. I have had this browser open all day. What a joke.

@gothburz It’s up 14% over the last year! Basically they IPO’d way too high and now they’ve reached their “true” value (i.e. all the bad news is priced in). Nowhere to go but up!
@emzanotti I saw him once sitting at the bar at a local restaurant. It was so hard to not go up to him and say something because I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan. But that’s just not what you do in this town.
@Vivian_E_Jones@angienashville “For free”? If I’m reading this right TBC will also be paying MNAA or the state about $300M? A revenue stream that MNAA could never have tapped without the tunnel.
“…the fixed-pie delusion [is a] belief that the economy is a zero-sum game. That there is a fixed amount of work to be done, and if a machine does more of it, humans must do less…The economy is not a pie. It's a garden. And technology is rain.”
