@northernassist Ok thanks. That’s a shame. I only really got that train to get to Stoke as it was far cheaper than @CrossCountryUK and @AvantiWestCoast so a bus service isn’t necessary for me as I don’t get need to get to any of the stops along that route.

@AvantiWestCoast The live times online is showing the 11:23 train will arrive at 13:55 but the train manager said 14:02 so hopefully the former is correct even though the difference is very slight. 🙏🏼

Had to be in Manchester for an appointment at 2pm so booked the train that would get me in with enough time… now the train is arriving just after 2 @AvantiWestCoast! 🙄 These stories write themselves! 😏

@AvantiWestCoast Well me and my friends booked these seats at a table specifically so it’s a bit difficult for us all to move and still be together. I will let them know if they come round but very strange that I couldn’t spot them at all in any coaches.

@AvantiWestCoast Currently on the 14:53 train from Stoke to London. The charging points in Coach E are not working and there’s no sign of train staff on board after walking up and down the length of the train and being told by the shop assistant that they would be at the front.

@CrossCountryUK This train specifically was very late. Do you really think there's a significant difference between 29 and 30 minutes? It just sounds like a reluctance to compensate passengers for bad service. Especially when other companies repay at 15 minutes or more.

UPDATE: CrossCountry tickets dated 16 April, travelling to and from Manchester Piccadilly can use their ticket at no extra cost tomorrow 17 April, on any CrossCountry train via the same route until the end of the day.

@CrossCountryUK The 17:15 train from Reading to Manchester is currently still showing as running so you think this will change? Looking at this page, I don’t know which other way I can get to Manchester.
