I've taken a few days to collect my thoughts.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages, comments, emails, and kind words.
Instead of trying to say it all again here, I'll simply leave you with this:
Thank you, Calgary. ❤️ #yyc
Dear @taylorswift13, if you're looking for your next era, Calgary could use a local news station. I know a newsroom full of incredibly talented people. It could be the Getaway Car local journalism needs. It's a little Delicate to ask ... but there's No Bad Blood. 😉
@ZevKlymochko From Instagram: "You must not inaccurately tag content or encourage users to inaccurately tag content (example: don’t encourage people to tag themselves in photos if they aren’t in the photo.)" Is a comment mention the same as a content tag? I think: it's not. #FineLines#BMC382
#BMC382 : Interactive, entertaining, and just plain fun. These tips also suit #yyc well.

The City of Prince George released the official guide on surviving winter - for newbies. And we are accepting your suggested additions to the guide...which is really just a Facebook post. :-) Check it out https://t.co/alPw2mY0yG #cityofPG#wethenorth
@mzbc36 Third time's the harm! Along with BEET, this was perhaps the biggest piece of advice I took away from the presentation.
Hug Your Haters, but know that #HatersGonnaHate, sometimes, too.🤗 #BMC382
@ZevKlymochko@ly50211671@HubSpotAcademy I didn't do the Social Media certification, so I can't speak to comparison. The Digital Marketing one that I completed suggested 5 hours, it took me about 4, all in.
@ly50211671@HubSpotAcademy I think (based on #BMC382 course material) #DigitalMarketing refers to anything online, whereas #SocialMarketing is specific to interactive marketing (ie. social media.) I also think it's a case where the denotation and connotation overlaps a little, in conversation, these days.
#Week5Of7 and playing a little catchup.
Question for the #BMC382 crew: if you see/read a negative comment online, how much of an impact does it have on your buying decision(s)?
IMO it's a combination of several things: complaint details, grammar, quantity, and biz response.
@JMarucia If I see a chatbot on a page I'm seeking information from, I leave the page. I appreciate that the tool is in place to help a company streamline responses and be more fiscally responsible, but I have yet to find one that has been helpful to me, as well, @NSmith! #BMC382
@ZevKlymochko When it comes to a business/company, I lose complete interest in the brand. When it comes to a tweet from an individual, I am annoyed, but much more understanding. Mistakes happen. This just happens to be a platform that puts an exclamation point on them. #BMC382
Hey #BMC382! Did any of you take a social media break over the holidays?
I absolutely did, enjoyed it, and am having a hard time finding inspiration to get back at it. I had every intention of getting ahead in our course, and I did not do that, at all. #SelfLove#TimeWellWasted

@JMarucia I think each of the platforms have their own place, and IMO, not all businesses (or individuals) understand the difference. I'm inclined to agree with @mzbc36, who noted LinkedIn might be better defined as a B2B platform. (Which would also support your #JobSearch theory!) #BMC382
@sherlock171133 It's clear that you have a bias against Westjet for some issues you've been posting about for a few days. You're right, disagreements are not all fights, I'm simply choosing to leave this one be. Best of luck.
Hey, #BMC382 crew, or anyone else with thoughts, what company stands out to you, as one that manages #SocialMedia well?! Why?
I'll start: #WestJet! In my limited time/experience with #SocialMediaMarketing, the airline set the sky-high standard for interaction. #feedback
