We stand by our industry-standard APY engine — open source, precision-focused, and built for simplicity. Validate the open source implementation or use it in your own project: https://t.co/EijviYSV9d
Our methodology is described in detail here: https://t.co/iZCAnhNgay
We welcome all feedback to help improve TaoYield. Try it yourself at https://t.co/i8IKFhH1Xx
We are proud to announce support for APY accounting following the TaoFlow update - and better yet, it's open source.

I remember back in 2022 when no one gave a fuck about #Bittensor
Now @const_reborn, @BarrySilbert and other OGs are giving packed out presentations at the Louvre in Paris
An incredible journey so far..

Another Huge Milestone for Chutes 🪂
2 Trillion Tokens Processed.
At the current rate of tokens processed daily, we're on track to soon be doing > 1.8 Trillion PER MONTH.
And it's only upwards from here 🚀

By definition, the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) includes annual compounding, which distinguishes it from the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), which does not account for compounding. We calculate APY by applying per-epoch compounding within selected intervals (1H, 24h, 7d, 30d), a process that occurs on the network level, and then annualizing the results. If needed, APR can be derived from APY for comparison using straightforward mathematical calculations.
Historically, we have focused on displaying the APY metric rather than APR. This approach helps users understand the actual annualized yield they can achieve, assuming that yields remain stable over time.
Tao yield is your one-stop shop for all Bittensor data 💪
We’ve added subnet icons and price/APY charts to the Subnets page—making it easier than ever to explore key dynamics across the network.

Our APY calculations employ annualized compounding - we presume that other trackers might not be using compound interest. Our calculations are described in detail here: https://t.co/l6bhqfhKHQ
Furthermore, open source implementation of our APY calculations can be found here:

We have received questions about the removal of the "Fee" column on our home page. Conveniently, the final APY for stakers now accounts for validator fees.
Further, please refer to the following for more information on our calculations:

The dTao update has introduced a new playground of data for the Bittensor ecosystem. We have evolved our existing metrics to include the most useful subnet tracker on the market. We are now proud to provide subnet APY data along with the broader validator APY tracker you are accustomed to. Stay tuned for new features and data points from TaoYield in the near future!
🚨 New Tao yield update! 🚨
Tao Yield is now the first and only platform to show true, accurate take rate fees, which now account for both validator staker fees and child key fees. $TAO
This now allows our users to know the full fee that is being paid to validators from their stake rewards.
