🇺🇸🇻🇪 CIA MACHINES FILES: MADURO RIGGED THE ELECTORAL MACHINES TO GET RE-ELECTED IN 2020
This video should circulate on every profile that cares about democracy and integrity on elections.
🇧🇷 It’s worth remembering that the Smartmatic company was founded by 🇻🇪 Venezuelans and, for example, in the 2014 Brazilian election trained 14.000 employees who worked on the operation of the Brazilian electronic voting machines in that contest - it’s all officially at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) website: https://t.co/0pOtmU25TV
On that ocasion presidential candidate 🔵Aécio Neves (PSDB, social democrats) lost to 🔴Dilma Rousseff (PT, radical left). So the PSDB attempted an audit and the conclusion was the same as that of the Army’s Electoral Integrity Commission (invited to do so by the TSE) in 2022 and of the Bolsonaro party (PL) audit in 2022: the Brazilian machines are a black box, impossible to audit.
Note: only the PL was fined in 2022 in the amount of… R$22 million (~USD 5 million) - 22 was Bolsonaro’s number on the machine.
Officially, the TSE’s website states that the audit conducted by the PSDB found no irregularities. But the TSE fails to mention that it found nothing because it was impossible to verify data cross-referencing and other auditing techniques. This was the same subterfuge used by justice Alexandre de Moraes, TSE president during the 2022 election, to override what the Army said, and Moraes declared “the Army found nothing wrong.”
🤖 And before anyone says this is because “the system is impenetrable” - as always argued by then-Justice Barroso - the TSE doesn’t mention that the tribunal itself acknowledged, through a Federal Police investigation opened in 2018 at the request of TSE president Rosa Weber, that there was an intrusion carried out by a hacker who was inside the systems, including with TSE judge Sérgio Banhos’s password, from the beginning to the end of 2018 - in other words, spanning the two rounds of the 2018 election.
This investigation was probably only opened, I believe - and I’m only posting this because I’m outside Brazil, since they’ve criminalized opinion about the electoral process in my country - because the winner of that election was @jairbolsonaro, and so there was hope that this inquiry could annul Bolsonaro’s victory.
So I ask: yesterday it was Venezuela’s Maduro being unmasked, but would anyone be surprised if something similar were announced about Brazil?
