@TheRyenRussillo@ryenarussillo And this has absolutely zero relevancy, which you know, when even great, experienced players tend to be awful talent evaluators.
@WagerChimp@BillSimmons Well, his entire premise of the book, on what makes teams and players great, is sacrifice, and that ultimately corrupts the concept of an “undisputed alpha,” and besides that, Brunson was the third best Knick in the series with his inefficiency and A/TO ratio, so either way….
Now that this series is righting itself, and the Spurs are down 2-1 but destroying the Knicks in MSG thru the first quarter of game 3, I’m back to being confident that nobody but the Spurs or Thunder wil win the title for about 5 years
@DavidAFrench This has been the case from the beginning. This isn’t signs of mental deterioration, from the beginning of his political life he’s openly and defiantly denied reality and lashed out at anyone who even mildly called him on it.
@Faceoffhere@RUSHMOREonX Yeah, they needed to replace Horace. They didn’t need an all-star in that role, nor did they get one. As someone who watched nearly every televised game during that 2nd 3-leaf, lemme tell you that those rebounds came at the expense of literally everything else.
@AndyGlockner Yeah, I guess, but I just think you’re over-reacting to a couple of plays. Kornett looks like a target in this context because he’s replacing Wemby. Hes generally speaking not a bad defender. Hes very large and strong and knows where to be
@AndyGlockner Surely you don’t think he can give better rim protection to replace Wemby? He can pass it so maybe he helps the offensive side, but he’s an inferior defender to Kornett, even when he was young
Bryce Mitchell on Trump's White House UFC fight:
Our government is desecrating its role in society by entertaining sports. Our government is to protect and serve the people. Our tax dollars and resources are funding this operation. The government is supposed to protect us, not entertain us.
@AndyGlockner I think every team is going to get excited to go to the rim the minute Wemby is off the floor, no matter who the backup is. I think the only alternative to your “unplayable” is Wemby plays 48, unless you’re suggesting they dust off olynk or Biyombo, which surely no.
@AndyGlockner The Knicks have played like one competitive game in a month. I know people think that means they’re a juggernaut, but I think it means they’re woefully unprepared for what the Spurs will bring. I think they maybe win one.
