When Ukraine destroys Russian data centers, hoards of aggressive right-wing bots disappear, and Twitter becomes much friendlier. Isn’t that interesting? So much of our politics is driven by the internet, and so much of the internet is driven by Russians who want to hurt us. Shouldn’t we do something about that, given that we know it?
President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.
Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.
As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.
America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.
Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.
America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Slava Ukraini🇺🇸🇺🇦
The best thing you can do right now is turn your outrage and anger into a voluntary donation to the Ukrainian military.
Today, the Ukrainian military is one of the last bastions of goodness, decency, courage, and the values of the free world, fighting with weapons in hand, with the help of people of goodwill and wisdom, against the forces of the Axis: fascist Russia and its totalitarian allies.
In this war against an enemy so vastly superior in resources and ruthlessness, nothing will ever be enough. That is why, for many years now, we in Ukraine have had large and extremely popular civilian foundations supporting our fighting military. They raise hundreds of millions of dollars in donations from ordinary people and help purchase enormous quantities of gear, equipment, vehicles, and services for the military: from first-aid kits to armored vehicles, drones, high-tech components, and even satellites.
Personally, I recommend three of the largest and best-known foundations, which you can trust with complete peace of mind and which accept donations through any legal means from anywhere in the world: Come Back Alive @BackAndAlive, the Prytula Foundation @serhiyprytula, and the Sternenko Community @sternenkofund.
They are one of the reasons Ukraine is still fighting, and this is a cause that you, personally, can help support.
The intense, long range strikes against Moscow and Russia’s sprawling petrochemical industry by Ukraine’s unmanned forces in the last couple of days demonstrate world class competence and courage. The Russian bear has been stuck again by Ukraine’s trident. Slava Ukraini.
It is incredibly alarming that @NHL and @Capitals have allowed Alexander Ovechkin to appear in a campaign advertisement supporting the party of war criminal Putin. American hockey fans deserve better leadership from their star players!
In a recent interview, French political analyst @NTenzer explains why many political leaders avoid addressing Russia’s crimes despite overwhelming evidence. Here’s what he said👇
The Holodomor Research and Education Consortium has newly assembled an informative free online course on the history of the Holodomor in Ukraine within a global context of famine and genocide.

Again, it must be said: Trump and Vance and their Putinist minions hate Zelensky because the Ukrainian president has more decency, intelligence, morality, courage, and real patriotism in his little finger than exists in all of MAGA as a sum total.
JD Vance is lecturing the Pope on Catholicism and Pierre Poilievre is lecturing Mark Carney on economics and RFK Jr is lecturing scientists about vaccines and Donald Trump is lecturing the world on tariffs and Pete Hegseth is quoting Pulp Fiction and thinking it’s the Bible
What Trump promised: "I'll end Russia's war in Ukraine in 24 hours if you elect me."
What Trump did: "I tried to force Ukraine to capitulate and give Russia everything they want.
When that didn't work I ended all financial support to Ukraine, lifted sanctions of Russia, rolled out the red carpet for Putin, and doubled oil prices so Russia can have more money to continue the war."
Donald Trump is not joking about cancelling the midterms.
He doesn't joke.
He probes.
That wrinkled raptor is pushing to see if this particular section of fence is weak.
The response from his base will tell him whether or not to get serious
I’m not easily shook these days but the number of people who think the appropriate punishment for not following a masked federal agent’s orders is assassination is rather shocking
I am skeptical about the upcoming meeting with Central Asian leaders at the White House, and I believe it is a strategic mistake given the realities on the ground.
Kazakhstan and its Central Asian neighbors are formally independent but functionally controlled satellites, whose so-called diversification toward the West is actually part of a Moscow-coordinated strategy to project influence, not an escape from it.
Nearly 80% of Kazakh crude flows through the CPC pipeline to Russia’s Novorossiysk port, giving the Kremlin a direct valve over global supply and Western corporate interests. Moscow has used this lever multiple times, including in July 2022 and March 2023, when it suspended CPC exports under “environmental” pretexts to apply political pressure and remind Western investors who controls the flow.
The Western corporate presence in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas sector (Chevron, ExxonMobil, ENI, Shell) is not evidence of independence but a by-product of necessity. Kazakhstan’s tiny and aging population of barely 20 million cannot sustain extraction at industrial scale; the country lacks engineers, rig crews, and logistics capacity to run its own fields. Western firms were invited not to diversify away from Russia, but to compensate for demographic weakness under Moscow’s approval. This arrangement enables high output with a minimal local workforce while keeping the system dependent on Russian transit and Chinese demand.
The Trans-Caspian route that Washington promotes as diversification still hinges on Russian and Iranian consent under the Caspian Convention, while the China corridor (Atasu–Alashankou) binds Astana to Beijing’s offtake and tariff policies. Both alternatives exist only within limits that Moscow and Beijing find acceptable.
These states are landlocked, demographically fragile, and dependent on Russian and Chinese control over pipelines, ports, and security guarantees. The entire engagement creates an illusion of U.S. outreach while, in reality, Moscow orchestrates it to influence American policy and restrict Western leverage in Central Asia.
We must never let footage of tiny children being carried out of schools bombed by Russia become normalized.
One moment, learning their letters, the next, clinging to rescuers, confused, crying for their parents, and wiping dust from their faces. Bombed just for being Ukrainian. These are the every day targets and victims of pathetic war criminal Putin and his murderers who hunt children and elderly with drones because they are losing on the front lines and dying for no reason.
Humanity is not meant to witness this level of depravity.
Russia is a terrorist state and will keep killing until it is stopped.
It’s really hilarious that the drain the swamp guy made $5,000,000,000 (and counting) off the presidency.
And it’s even more hilarious that he did by convincing the poorest Americans in the country that he was here to help them.
History books going to laugh at all of us.
RFK Jr. fired the CDC Director, tore up vaccine contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and put anti-vaxxers in charge of public health. He’s telling parents to fight measles with Vitamin A and cod liver oil like it’s 1825. If you feel like your kids are less safe, you’re right. This is what happens when loyalty gets the job over competence.
The American system of government is so broken that we have a bill to sanction Russia that has 87 out of 100 senators cosponsoring it, a veto proof god tier supermajority, and they still cannot pass the bill because mister poops his pants says so.
I don’t see Putin meeting Zelensky.
The entire Russian legal basis for the invasion relies on their claim that the Ukrainian government is illegitimate, and that all presidents since Yanukovych are illegal.
A meeting with Zelensky would undermine that basis, making the invasion itself illegal. This goes against Putin’s personal vision and the core of Russian military and diplomatic doctrine.
That’s why I expect the Russian side will roll out some unthinkable demands for the meeting, trying to make Ukraine look bad for not accepting them. It will look absurd and desperate.
There is simply no point for Russia to sit at the negotiating table. Trump’s strategy allows Russia to go unpunished until it can no longer conquer. His approach of lifting sanctions as soon as Russia pauses its assaults only emboldens further aggression. It’s like telling a robber he can keep robbing for as long as he wants, with no real punishment.
If President Trump is serious about ending the war, he should send a clear message to Putin: no matter what, Russia’s conquests will never be recognized, and Russia will remain isolated from the West until it returns the stolen lands. Saying that Ukraine will never have Crimea again signals to Russia that conquest by force is legitimate, which only encourages more aggression.
The idea of a “mutually beneficial” relationship between Russia and the USA is a myth with no future. Russia is both an energy competitor and a geopolitical rival. It strategically undermines American influence in South America, Africa, and Europe, all while building alliances with America’s other adversaries, including China and Iran.
I appreciate President Trump efforts to end the war, however this approach is flawed, just like slow dripping aid approach by Biden admin. I am afraid that time window is slipping and this strategy will only make things worse
The bullshit deal will not happen. Ukrainian side will review the proposal and will ask for serious guarantees before doing any withdrawal. If its article 5 like guarantee, Ukraine will ask for foreign troops on the new line, everyone will pussy out. Ukraine will say, if you pussy out now, there is zero guarantee you won’t pussy out later.
This negotiations just gives russia a platform and recognition. While humiliating the USA.
