1/ MEVconomics, organized by @ETHGlobal and Flashbots, took place on Friday. It was 6.5 hours of talks from the smartest researchers and builders in the space covering a wide range of topics in the MEV space.
Here are some intern takeaways (chronologically):
Three items are behind a wall and a solver is going to get one of them for you
Do you get a goat or a car, anon?
@malleshpai, @ks_kulk, @theo_diamandis and I show you that if solvers have to do more work to deliver the item to you, they're not going to show up to the auction
OH: "If Flashbots were given the task of designing airport security lines, they would build a second airport which no one would be able to see from outside and everyone will need to give a distribution of their bids for different spots."
@tarunchitra@0xmons@0xEmperor The VSR paper doesn't cover the case where two adjacent proposers can collude to make a all Buys and a all Sells block pair or where a single can frontrun the tail and get a better price for the backrun in the next block courtesy of the same rule.
