I just saw a petition on Parliaments website to make it a legal duty to call for help. I think that’s an amazing idea but I also think it should be extended to crimes in progress or assisting police officers rather than filming them?

London relies on Underground staff for £50m a day of economic activity. But those same workers are being rostered into exhaustion.
@RMTunion members assist passengers every day. They don't want to inconvenience you but fatigue and understaffing are a dangerous mix.
@Golden_Cop@Brick_Cop It’s just mad to me that the Met (can only talk from experience) do very little to actually retain officers. Don’t get me wrong when they had cohorts of 500 I can get it but they are struggling to recruit as is 😂😂
@sherlock_comms It just makes me laugh, in my humble opinion, it shouldn’t be this course you have to struggle to get hold of, it should be an inevitablity, but it’s not. The fact it’s this social heirarchy thing doesn’t make sense
@SandwichZero1 I just don’t get it, like, I know people who have been in the job a while get a bit sick of it, but then, go somewhere else?
I come to work to do the job and when I hear an I grade get circulated 8 times knowing that 4 units are free it’s a piss take! Such a waste of a course!
@SandwichZero1 I know lots of people who had that nickname on my team.
I think it’s a shame. Especially as those who get the courses then become allergic to work, I.E I grade domestics (which I’ve never understood as it’s all handed over) and ANY S grade that can’t be ASNT 😂😂
@SandwichZero1 And now the goalposts have moved again, I was technically second in line and now people who are older than I am are being put before me purely because of my age.
It’s demotivating especially when I have friends in other force areas who have joined a year after me getting one.
@SandwichZero1 I’ve been on my team since November 2 years ago now. Don’t get me wrong I know I am not nearly experienced enough to have a course in general, however, I’ve seen 3 people get a course since being on the team. Each as least deserving as the next
