Set up stations for the students to get in pairs and go around the room to find a number card. Once the card is found, they have to work together to see what value of coins are shown! I was really impressed how quickly they picked money up this year! #TeamTatom #growingleaders

We did place value using a dice, but they had to go to hundreds.... in first grade we count to 120. Well, this way, they had to think harder and use higher order thinking!!
