An Active ETF is the same as the ETFs we know currently, except that a fund manager actively picks the stocks versus the ETF simply tracking an index (known as 'passive' investing). So akin to a listed unit trust
The SYG4IR ETF since listing in late 2017. It had a very tough couple of months and is behind the Nasdaq as it has not seen the recent bounce that lifted the tech-heavy Nasdaq.
