@hanlemc@rrrisingtide@tophsvision@seulmeret Exactly but we shouldn’t just not say anything. Shaming her won’t get anywhere but not point out it’s harmful behaviors affects hundreds of young people
@rrrisingtide@hanlemc@tophsvision@seulmeret It’s not heartless to point out to young people that eating disorders like the one she clearly has is not okay. It’s heartless to bully an already clearly struggling woman. But it is not heartless to tell kids this isn’t normal
@maggiemoda I truly hope she gets treatment and can find the support she needs. I used to have an ED, I almost died to it, so I understand how that mindset is so rooted. But at the same time she is a public figure, and influences can go a long way to impressionable people.
@juwlz_z@phycorockchick@PopBase As someone who as also had an ED, you can’t look at her and just say she’s extra skinny, you can see her ribcage, I can count her ribs, you can see the joints in her elbows, she is clearly not healthy. But bullying will not help, she needs treatment. And support
@AOTSag@thatfoureyedone@locstarwaitin@gayandpressed Because I grew up with them? Hello???? Some people would rather choose safety, then to be out and proud, I new I was gay at an early age, but I also knew if I came out, my dad woulda killed me and my mother woulda prayed while he did it, in fact he attempted to
@slooterman I can be blunt and precise without being a jerk, unfortunately can’t say the same for all autistic adults.
There’s a clear difference between being blunt and straight to the point, and blunt with a rude attitude.
@Kristosavage2 Nah it crazy accurate too cuz I told the lady plug that I wanted something that would make me feel more energized in the morning, and she told me to take some magnesium at night when I smoke. That bitch (respectfully) a witch or smth because it works
@Urosenpai@Ravenger___ people, especially young children, frequently run away from or hide from firefighters. When panicked or scared by an emergency, individuals may experience a strong fight-or-flight response. I feel like they didn’t consult any actual first responders cuz wtf that thing is scary.
@fritzfam5@Ravenger___ people, especially young children, frequently run away from or hide from firefighters. When panicked or scared by an emergency, individuals may experience a strong fight-or-flight response. I don’t think that robot is going to encourage anyone to run toward it in a fire.
