Canadian scout to me: “[Oliogu] is a rim destroying athlete who can post up guards and smaller forwards. He will go at anyone, and you don’t want to be caught under the net on defense. I think he has the most potential of any player currently attending a school in Canada.”
Butler had landed a commitment from 2025 four-star Efeosa Oliogu. He is regarded as one of the top Canadian players in the class.
Oliogu joins Azavier Robinson, Jack McCaffery, Jackson Keith and Colt Langdon (a 2025 reclass who is redshirting this year) in Butler’s future core.
NEWS: 2025 four-star SF Colt Langdon has committed to Butler and is reclassifying to play for the Bulldogs this upcoming season, he announced live on the @On3Recruits YouTube Channel.

Breaking, huge news for United States. Arsenal star Folarin Balogun has finally decided to represent USMNT — he will switch allegiance to USA. 🚨🔴🇺🇸 #USMNT
Balogun took his time but the decision has been made. No England; he will represent USA. Official soon.
Here we go ✨🇺🇸
Butler has had a very active offseason and the Bulldogs have brought in some quality pieces. There's a PG in Posh Alexander, a shooter in DJ Davis (UC Irvine), a lengthy wing in Jahmyl Telfort (Northeastern), a 7-footer in Andre Screen (Bucknell) as well as Pierre Brooks (MSU).
@hardwiredsports@TheJMULL_ Are you worried about guard depth with how the roster is currently constructed? And does this team still need another true PG? Lastly, of those guards on the roster, who plays a majority of the minutes at the 1?
As you continue to see “Butler” pop-up on lists for players in the portal across Twitter, keep these words in mind from a former No. 1 recruit that also sat on the other side of the table from Thad.
“Dude, I’m telling you, he’s a monster,” - Greg Oden.
