Now I'm building an app with AI tools, and it's almost ready for the App Store.

I'm going to share the real process here. The wins, the mistakes, all of it.

Yesterday I finished round one of App Store safety work on my app.

If people can post in your app, Apple wants report and block, a bad-content filter, a support page, and an age rule (13+) at sign-up.

Not flashy. Still required.

What surprised you about App Store review?

The first thing I asked Claude Code to build wasn't a feature.

It was one small file: a project guide called CLAUDE.md.

Rules like: write the test first, one small change per task, and never merge your own work.

Every session starts by reading it.
