I connected Grok Bot to Apollo, and building lead lists got a lot easier.

First I give it a detailed description of the avatar I'm going after. Then it uses every filter Apollo has and shows me sample matches before it spends any credits. If a filter list doesn't fit the avatar, it tells me.

It only uses credits when I say so. I don't have to keep filtering stuff out in Apollo anymore. I do it all in Grok Bot.

Bonus tip: connect an email verification tool too, so the new leads get checked right after you pull them.

Thanksgiving through New Year's is a rough stretch for cold email.

I've been in marketing for 8 years straight. Here's the playbook for any startup running outbound:

1. Rebuild your systems in December. Things slow down, so this is the time to fix your process and clean your lists. It's okay (better, really) for things to break when it's quiet.

2. Send more if cold email is your main channel. With so many people out of office, it takes more emails to book each meeting, so you need more sends just to keep your numbers.

3. Rewrite your copy to sound more human. That matters more than ever in cold email right now.

4. Mention Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's in your emails, even if it feels odd. It's the only time of year you can, and it works in almost every campaign.

Last night I had 50.
This morning I woke up at 226, and it's still going.

In one day:
165 new follows (31 the day before)
5,373 impressions (up from 2,417)
68 replies, which is where the growth came from

Thank you to everyone who replied, connected, and followed. I'm following you back, but I just learned X limits how many people you can follow in a day 😅

We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today.

We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage.

And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.
