Most companies are approaching AI backwards.
They take an existing workflow, add Copilot or a chatbot somewhere in the middle, and call it AI-enabled.
The more interesting question is:
If you designed the workflow today, knowing what AI can do, would you design it the same way?

One thing I’ve been thinking about with GEO: how do you know if you’re actually improving?
With SEO, we’re used to tracking rankings, clicks and traffic. AI search is different. The answer can change depending on the prompt, platform and timing.
So a useful starting point is simply tracking the questions your customers might ask, who gets mentioned, and how those answers change over time.
We wrote a bit more about prompt tracking here:

Search used to be mostly about one question:
Can customers find you on Google?
Now there’s another:
When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity for recommendations in your category, does your company appear in the answer?
SEO still matters. But businesses increasingly need to think about how AI systems understand, trust and surface them too.

AI makes it possible to research and contact more prospects than ever.
That doesn’t mean companies should send more outbound.
When everyone can generate thousands of “personalized” emails, volume becomes less valuable. The advantage shifts toward understanding who actually has a reason to buy, why now, and what matters to them.
Our latest article looks at how AI can shift GTM from volume toward intent, research and relevance:
