Someone was on TV yesterday, but unlike his past appearances, no one seems to be talking about the interview. No animated analysis followed, and no headlines emerged today from the supposed "bombshells" he dropped. It seems Kenyans have moved on.
Sasa compare him with Uhunye's tactical approach. Uhunye kept teasing the nation with promises to eventually reveal why he fell out with his Deputy. But in a masterstroke of restraint, he revealed nothing, leaving Kenyans hanging onto his every word. His silence, perceived as dignified even amidst what some regarded as persecution, elevated him to a larger-than-life figure.
Today, many Kenyans genuinely miss his presence.
In stark contrast, the Mathira man has exhausted his ammunition. He has become predictable and his narrative stale - by constantly granting interviews and over-explaining his fallout with his former boss.
The allure is gone. Neither the media nor the public will be intrigued by his future interviews. He has done in a month what takes many years in politics: faded into irrelevance.
Hii ndio ujinga ya overexposure and overexplaining. In the world of power and influence, mystery creates value, and silence can speak louder than words. A lesson from Uhuru: sometimes, less is more. But for those advising the Mathira man, please keep going. We want more of him on TV and radio mpaka aishe rangi! 😆
Christmas comes early for 87-year-old Drisilla Jumwa!
After decades of relying on kerosene lamps and firewood, the overjoyed grandmother from Mwanguwi village finally lights up her home with electricity, thanks to the Last Mile Electricity Connectivity Project launched by President William Ruto.
Speaking in Wundanyi, Taita Taveta County, the President reiterated his administration's commitment to ensuring every Kenyan, regardless of location or income, enjoys the benefits of modern energy.
Without this initiative, Jumwa would have faced the daunting task of raising over Ksh 70,000 for power connection, a cost far beyond her means.
Today, she celebrates the transformative impact of affordable and accessible electricity, a gift that illuminates not just her home but her hope for a brighter 2025 and beyond!

Prof Kindiki replaces Gachagua as UDA Deputy Party Leader
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has officially assumed the office of the Deputy Party Leader at the United Democratic Movement (UDA) party, swiftly replacing Rigathi Gachagua
The changes at UDA's second top command post were triggered by the removal from the office of Gachagua by impeachment last month.
UDA Constitution designates the president as the Party Leader while the Deputy President is the Deputy Party Leader.
"I am humbled to assume the position of the Deputy Party Leader of the UDA, a party that I have worked hard for. I want us to focus on recruitment of more members and the grassroots elections to maintain our popularity," said Prof. Kindiki while taking office.
The DP said he will consult and promote the ideals of the party as he supports the president in running the outfit.
"I was, and I am still the chief agent for UDA party. I have not yet handed over the Chief Agent mantle for this party that made me Interior Cabinet Secretary," he said.
National Chair Cecily Mbarire and Secretary General Hassan Omar led National Executive Committee members in witnessing the change of guard at the party headquarters, Hustler Plaza.
