Exciting @awscloud news: A development collaboration with innovators @DukeEnergy. It's still Day 1 to tackle the big issues facing the power grid, and with the Duke Energy team, we're scaling up their grid data analytics to enable the energy transition. https://t.co/YHASx3DlEE
Duke Energy and Amazon Web Services, Inc. are entering into a multiyear strategic collaboration to accelerate the utility’s development of industry-leading grid solutions that will benefit customers and help advance Duke Energy’s clean energy transition. https://t.co/0tm3sq6TMF
Love the innovative thinking. File this in the ‘and’ column for renewable energy and storage solutions. There won’t be just one tech approach for the clean energy transition. https://t.co/tpJa7iUVX0
@adastroworld Oh, yeah, you need years of experience to earn those levels of comp, certainly. But per my other reply, there are lots of ways into tech that don’t involve coding. Good luck!
@adastroworld @bellemorte1979 I say that to encourage people who are not CS or EE grads, who do not code, to consider tech. The industry benefits from people with different backgrounds and has lots of different functions/job opps. Not all tech is coding.
@adastroworld @bellemorte1979 Respectfully, IME this is inaccurate. Product Mgt, solution architects, product marketing & likely other *non coding* roles regularly exceed that in total comp, and after more time in salary... in FAANG, similar cos, or well funded startups. + sales jobs if you hit #s
