Yes, I've seen all these posts from the University of Texas fans which are trying to convince us that they don't have more resources than every other school in the country.
It's funny that before Texas Tech came along they used to love bragging about all the money they spend and how "if we want it we buy it" when it comes to coaches and personnel.
But now they are the poor whiny victims of Texas Tech's horrible focus on pouring resources into build the sport of women's softball as if they've never put a penny towards NIL.
They are quite an annoying bunch. I've definitely come to understand why so many people make fun of them.
I love our current white uniforms, but an alternate white set with the colors inverted would be incredible. It feels like the one missing piece that would complete the entire wardrobe.
(And the flat Double T absolutely rocks.)
The “Texas Tech just bought a team” argument ignores a pretty important fact: these players got significantly better after they got to Lubbock.
NIL may help get talent on campus, but it doesn’t turn .335 hitters into .436 hitters or 2.5-sack players into 10-sack players. That’s coaching and development.
Saying Tech simply bought success is a cheap line that’s disingenuous or lazy.
This is a perplexing time.
People hate Texas Tech because we have money.
In response to this frustration, they embrace the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS? 40 plus billion dollar endowment, have every advantage stacked in you’re favor, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS?
Sone might call this inconsistent.
Texas owns us, we can’t win a natty in any major sport, we paid for a QB to not play, we put up zero points against Oregon, Toppin tore his ACL, we don’t even have a basketball team this year, and baseball sucks…. I’m taking a toaster bath
