Italy: state of emergency, halt entry from hot zones, close schools, buildings, restaurants, cafes
Singapore: orange alert
US: "If Singapore can't contain it, I don't see any country can”
Australia: let’s break quarantine to bring 100,000 students back from China #auspol#ausbiz
"Lots of nice people can try to create a high-trust society by example. But if more than a small proportion of the population always acts on golden opportunities to benefit themselves at the expense of the common good, this approach cannot work" https://t.co/WRfmLpuwwC
@AvidCommentator@kary_cee Why have we become so dependent on these income streams? I have no pity for a sector with such a one dimensional business model.
This is the ultimate "kicking the can down the road" at the expense and risk of the good health of Australians during a global health emergency! @AvidCommentator @shoot_da_spruik @DFA_Analyst@adamseconomics
You when there's rumbling on the letters pages of the Oz the Libs are on borrowed time. They are only one bad decision away from the brink. What will it be, Health of citizens or education sector?
@fonforest@AJT_1980@WiggumCharm Went to a year one celebrity day as Gary Birtles in a red Adidas Originals shirt. The class sat in silence thinking WTF. Did all over again in 4th grade with a Heaven 17 cassette.
@fonforest@AJT_1980@WiggumCharm Funny. I'm a 40 year Forest fan from Sydney. My dads family is from Nottingham. As sad as it sounds I can't break the knot, the thrill, the disappointment of following them. This said I follow Sydney FC and Australia pretty closely. Have travelled to wcq and Asia Cup games.
Excellent article. Laser like in focus on the problems afflicting Australia. Pretend capitalists who want all the rewards yet none of the risks. Your ability to influence and lobby is more important than innovation.
