Tulumbu is trending because northern content creator Dan Bello, used comedy to creatively narrate how Tulumbu is deliberately stopping Nigeria's economy from growing.

He explicitly gave details behind the Malta refineries that Aliko Dangote spoke of.

Dan Bello said, Tulumbu is deliberately sabotaging the economy for his own profit, paying subsidy to himself and deliberately frustrating Dangote's refinery. His analogy made sense off already existing public information.

The video is gaining rapid momentum in the North. So, patriotic Arewa youths are calling for his arrest, some are citing treason. While lovers of Nigeria in the SW are debunking his fictional claims.

According to reports, the video has found its way to northern parents WhatsApp.

However, legally there is no case here. Because he never mentioned the name everyone is assuming he is talking about, and even the names on the images he showed in the video were gotten from public domain, none was 'created' by him.

For those celebrating what was apparently their "victory" yesterday, I have very little to say.

Apparently your "Asiwaju" is paying the military rank-and-file a special extra-budgetary allowance so that they don't carry out a coup - such is his level of confidence in his own "mandate."

However long this marriage of strange bedfellows lasts, it will inevitably come to and end. When it does, I will be here to tweet "I told you so" as I always do.

CBN borrowed $13.8 Billion from U.S Banks (JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs). Bubari & Emefiele “secretly” used Nigeria’s Foreign Reserve as Collateral. They printed N32 Trillion in Ways & Means as well.

Both men sabotaged Nigeria’s Sovereignty, they wrecked the Naira & your Economy.

Do you realize the magnitude of this Economic Sabotage? Your Foreign Reserve was $33 billion in July 2023. Debit $13.8 billion from this CBN managed asset.

What do you have left? If you pay off the debt, Nigeria will be left with less than $20 billion for a 200 million population.

A quick breakdown of the Debt:

$7 billion to JP Morgan Chase, & $500 million to Goldman Sachs under a “Classified Securities Lending.” $6.3 billion exposure to Foreign Currency Forwards.

“Foreign Currency Forwards” are CBN’s obligations to foreign investors.

Obasanjo grew your Foreign Reserve from $5.4 billion in 1999, to $51.3 billion by 2007. He cleared your Foreign debts as well.

Buhari has sank Nigeria back into humongous debt. Nigeria’s Total Debt Profile was N77 Trillion. Add the “secret” $13.8 billion & tell me the number?

Why did the Naira need defending? Because it was weak I.e. $1: N469

Why was the Naira weak? Many reasons but a big reason was the CBN printed N23t for Buhari to spend at will without oversight

Who should have provided oversight on the printing of N23t?

Well National Assembly and Debt Management Office

So the CBN printed N23t, that made the Naira lose value, then same CBN used foreign reserves to prop up the Naira they were weakening?
