With exercise, often the largest benefits are realised when someone goes from nothing to something.
Once we manage to get started, the most important thing is continuing to show up, rather than focusing on doing more - or doing things “better”.
For many, the pursuit of “optimal” is unsustainable and leads to inaction instead.
