We have developed a reliance on technology which causes adegemredation in technical skills and judgement as thebAI agent is slowly given more autonomy and is making decisions. In surgery with cholcustectomy itbis the same using a Go-No Go paradigm . The endoscopist and surgeon should be able to assess and make critical decisions without AI ALGORITHMS. What we have is the opposite in both instances of mastery learning. Skills require reinforcement across time to be maintained.
