@RHGSniperFox@ultradavid Our disagreement may be a semantic one. I think there are many counter-examples, but I'd still say that good personalities can be inferred from the original games via the endings/bios. Very easily, IMO. I think David's statement is a bit unfair.
@RHGSniperFox@ultradavid Calling it parody/stereotype seems unjust to the actors. When Smoke lamented Sub's automation, was that parody? When Kabal discovers he's permanently scarred, was that a stereotype? It seems like the line we're drawing of what is and isn't personality is extremely arbitrary.
@ultradavid I'm just trying to find a point of reference for what you mean by personality. The choices in the classic endings/bios seem to imply personalities, but even that aside... why does MK9 not count? Did you mean good personalities? I'm just not sure what you're asserting here.
@AnothaTimmy Well, what's interesting about MK11 is I've always enjoyed watching it. The reason I stopped wasn't so much because of the game itself but the lack of character variety in top 8's. Granted, I still couldn't go back given breakaway and weak AA's.
@AIM_Dopeness I've been doing good. I've been lucky that I've had a work-at-home option for quarantine. Hope you've been hanging in there. Regarding the WS, I'm working with Jango to get another episode down the pipe. Jango has just been occupied with other projects atm.
@AIM_Dopeness I'm glad you did that, too. NRS needs to establish internally what the writing goals are so this kind of stuff doesn't happen. It's not clear to me why the story mode isn't written entirely in-house in the first place.
