If you like doing crafts with your kids, you will love this just as much as I did: https://t.co/KkUIHivwj8
A free app with dozens of box patterns you can customize and print.
My daughter wanted a box for a specific toy, we measured it and thanks to @template_maker made a pattern to fit it precisely. ❤️
Haven’t actually made the box yet, but very impressed with this. Clearly someone’s labor of love.
@LeaVerou @RogersKonnor I am not a native speaker English. According to my research, for paper craft, yes, these things are called
'templates'. The printing industry calls them 'dielines'. And more math-minded people call them 'nets'. But indeed, the term is ambiguous.
@KraiMind@FlagInstitute Correct me if I am wrong, @vlaggenkunde, but flags like these are called 'pennants'. You are not supposed to fly a real national flag between dusk and dawn (etiquette), so you use a pennant instead. It's like the light-version of a flag.
@springer1842 What should I do if I (THINK I) spotted an typo/error in one of your books? I tried a formula, it didn't work. I swapped two variables in the formula and that corrected it. It's a typical |determinant| thing. ISBN1863-7310, formula 12.6: (y3-y1) should be (y1-y3)
@espiekermann Thanks! Well, I tried Glyphs, but I could not figure out how to use it to make a OTF/SVG font. If it _should_ be possible non-the less, then I'd be happy to give it another try.
Just in case anybody wonders... @cricut has changed their program, not me. The SVG files generated by my software are still the same. Working on the issue, but a little help from my friends at @cricut would be welcome!
