Bitcoin is all about maths, nothing else. The current cycle is having the same pattern as the previous ones.
Forget Trump, forget Iran, Hormuz, ETF’s and treasury companies.
Bitcoin isn’t about narratives but rather knowledge and critical thinking.
Regarding your last article, the chinese c.p. owns about 190 000 btc. If not more.
I sincerely hope you’re ignoring btc as much as they are. ;)
Bastille day. The 14th July, 1789. The symbolic storming of the Bastille prison. The triggering off the reign of terror that established the Republic, to the detriment of the French monarchy, aristocracy, suspected or accused intellectuals, Catholic Christians and enumerable victims of ‘slander’.
The symbol is more important than the reality. There weren’t many prisoners in the Bastille. There were only two harmless old guards who were immediately slaughtered.
The French Revolution was, of course, a blood bath. It bordered on genocide. Especially in the Vendée where a serious insurrection took place from 1793 to 1796. Religious royalists against the French military.
One only has to compare the death toll. 17,000 French military and 140,000 Vendéens.
Between 1793 and 1794 other violent repressions took place. In Nantes and Angers the Republican forces shot, drowned or guillotined approximately 15,000 civilians. Elsewhere up to 50,000 civilians were massacred and their villages burnt to ruins by the ‘infernal columns’.
There was nothing glorious about the French Revolution. A monster that finally destroyed itself. But as it was the birth of the Republic, one still avoids alluding to all the negative aspects that, in any case, it mostly consisted of.
Unknown of at that time, one of the many negative aspects was the genesis of communism.
Isn’t this feverish slaughter to ‘save’ the Republic’ as atrocious (and ideological) as the Iranian regime’s reaction to protests opposing the regime? An excessive reaction also to save the republic?
Had it not been for the arrival of Napoléon Bonaparte in 1799, and his overthrowing of the revolutionary government, (that one also avoids referring to) perhaps chaos and civil war would have engulfed France indefinitely.
Napoléon established sociopolitical unity. He improved administrative institutions, and instinctively or intelligently bridged the gap between the decapitated monarchy by auto-proclaiming himself Emperor, (obliging Pope Pius VII to perform the consecration).
Yet today, and as always since the non event of ‘the storming of the Bastille’, every 14th July France commemorates with military zeal the start of an atrocity.
It’s all the more sickening to see Zelensky and Von der Leyen as enthusiastic guests wearing just as fake expressions of emotional respect as Macron’s.

@SatoshiSound@LukeDashjr@ryanswalters73 What about Matthew 16:18: “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” ?
