I've been practicing psychiatry for 38 years. I love my job, my peers, and my patients. But I've come to the conclusion that I'm participating in the biggest intellectual scam of this era. We claim to be a science, but have no understanding how thought or behavior is generated./1
@eshear No campaigns or parties, all prospective politicians 35-65 drafted into publicly financed democratic quadrennial game show. 1&only all expenses paid term, all lobbying live streamed, popular decision for success metrics to give out 0-9 figure seed money for 501c3 after term.
While humans carry out social distancing, a group of 14 elephants broke into a village in Yunan province, looking for corn and other food. They ended up drinking 30kg of corn wine and got so drunk that they fell asleep in a nearby tea garden. 😂❤️

@TheBillyProcida@AndrewYang The freedom dividend empowers everyone to avoid discrimination, but even treats the root of discrimination
Financial insecurity > Mindset of scarcity > amplified tribalism > more discrimination > more violence and crime.
1000 cut at the branches while 1 strikes at the root
@MarkSchultzy@AndrewYang Literally in a different league from any mind I've ever seen run for office. His history in non profit circles has given him a deep sense of the problems and how to really fix them.
@jeetsidhu_ Citizens should exercise shareholder voting rights, but influence seems to accumulate to those with largest percentage of 'shares' no? But what exactly is the govt charter in the first place
If you constantly put yourself in a position where you're training yourself to think in probabilities and to embrace uncertainty, you will actually start to see and experience things differently.
Don't "work harder." Instead:
Cut away distractions.
Stop doing fake work.
Ask for help.
Plan.
Solicit criticism.
Automate what can be automated.
Engage your mentors.
Exercise.
Get more sleep.
Whatever you do, don't "work harder." It's pretty much never the answer.
There are 4 types of wealth:
1. Financial wealth (money)
2. Social wealth (status)
3. Time wealth (freedom)
4. Physical wealth (health)
Be wary of jobs that lure you in with 1 and 2, but rob you of 3 and 4.

@SeasideCrypto LFTR's in shipping containers for everyone! Here's my question: when you can carry 100 yrs of fuel on site, what is the long term business model? Not sure about maintenance costs. Maybe in that future energy costs exponentially increase, and so demand will take care of itself
@LimitlessXBT fwiw its >50% that we see lower. but there exists a point in time in which multiple whales with separate interests will enter. if they believe in any possibility of a bitcoin standard, or digital scarcity becoming relevant geopolitically, they have bigger fish than us to fry.
@SeasideCrypto The hashrate hasn't been affected by this bear market at all, interesting. Definitely part lag, but part cheap debt? An intruiging play is financing mining setup and sitting on coins, only selling as much as needed. Leverage in exchange for hard money = positive feedback loop
