At least 3 were out of 75 documented cases of short-term GPS signal interference, were caused by transmissions originating from satellites belonging to 🇷🇺
Ukrainassa droonit olleet arkea yli 4 vuoden ajan. Silti meillä vasta puuhastellaan hälytyssovelluksen kanssa, joka valmistuu ehkä 2027. Samaan aikaan suomalaisfirma osoittaa, ettei tällaisen tekemiseen mene viikonloppua pidempää. Kyse on tahtotilasta.

AI-generated product scams are flooding online marketplaces.
@bellingcat & Evident show how to spot the fakes:
✅ Check for image flaws (smudges, mismatched lines)
✅ Look for multiple angles—AI often can’t do consistency
✅ Use reverse image search to spot recycled or stock images

🚨Data Leak - Volkswagen
Volkswagen has faced a major data leak involving sensitive information from 800,000 electric vehicles, including location data and owner contact details.
https://t.co/l5g8vCcyfy
A misconfiguration in the systems of Cariad, VW's software subsidiary, left data stored on Amazon Cloud publicly accessible for months. The exposed information included precise GPS data, enabling detailed movement profiles and linking vehicles to their owners. High-profile individuals such as politicians, business leaders, and law enforcement were among those affected.
Researchers at iProov revealed that dark web cybercriminals are purchasing ID data from victims to bypass KYC processes, urging companies to adopt a multi-layered verification approach to counter sophisticated identity fraud. https://t.co/DU0jYhGhEh
Google just announced its groundbreaking quantum chip “Willow”.
It just did 10 septillion years of work in 5 minutes.
That's longer than the universe has existed.
Here's what I found out:
The breakthrough comes from error correction.
→ Until now, quantum computers had a massive problem: more qubits = more errors
→ Willow flips this on its head: more qubits actually REDUCE errors
→ This solves a challenge that's stumped scientists since 1995
Why this matters for computing:
Quantum computers operate differently from classical computers.
While classical computers use bits (0 or 1), quantum computers use qubits that can exist in multiple states simultaneously.
This allows them to solve complex problems that are impossible for traditional computers.
The implications are massive for:
• Drug discovery through molecular simulation
• Materials science advances
• Next-generation AI development
To date, no quantum computer has outperformed a supercomputer on a commercially relevant application.
The development of Willow is a step towards that direction.
It reminds me of what Alan Turning, the father of modern computing, once said:
“We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.”
