Breaking: Keir Starmer accuses JD Vance of interfering in British democracy and attempting to stir up unrest on British streets
This is the strongest condemnation yet by Starmer of the Trump administration
Number 10 says:
“In recent days we have seen people trying to interfere in our democracy and seeking to stir up division on our streets.
“The Nowak family are grieving after Henry’s horrific murder. They have said they do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension. We should be respecting their wishes.
“Our politics should bring people together even in the most terrible of circumstances. That is who we are as a country.”
The interesting thing here is not that everyone suddenly loves Starmer.
It is that outside the Westminster/media bubble, many people seem to understand something very basic:
A country cannot rebuild itself through permanent leadership panic.
Stability is not glamorous.
It does not trend as easily as drama.
It does not feed the pundit class in quite the same way.
But after the Tory circus — five prime ministers, endless faction fights, mini-budgets, resignations, scandals and collapse — stability matters.
You do not have to agree with every decision Starmer makes to understand that.
You do not have to think he is charismatic to understand that.
You only have to ask one question:
Would another leadership war really help the country right now?
For many people outside the bubble, the answer seems to be no.
Country first cannot just be a slogan.
Sometimes it means giving a Prime Minister with a majority the time and space to govern.
If this speaks to you, please repost it — not for me, but for someone who is tired of chaos being sold as politics. And - yeah you guessed it - follow me.
🚨 Campaign win! 🚨
The Government is banning conversion therapy through the Conversion Practices Bill.
This marks major progress for our local campaign to end this abusive practice once and for all by writing it into law.

Pleased to meet with Prime Minister @narendramodi and External Affairs Minister @DrSJaishankar. We discussed the most pressing global challenges including resuming freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz - and strengthened our bilateral relationship, agreeing new cooperation on maritime security and critical minerals.
It is the work we do internationally which makes us stronger at home
USA is sick. Well its government is. Ditto this platform. The constant ill-informed commentary on other countries about which they know little and care less has to be called out. Not sure that if the World Cup was in Europe right now that there would be the kind of boycott that is hitting the usa travel industry
Farage's Reform UK Ltd is now the best funded political party in the UK. Not from grass routes support or local branches but almost entirely by a couple of tax dodging, uncountable, unknown, shady crypto speculators.
A true giant in journalism, Jon Snow has spent his life asking difficult questions and telling important stories.
Now, in sharing his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, he is helping others feel less alone and raising awareness of a condition that affects so many families.
Any chance you lot could one day be on the side of decent British people against far right Americans who have nothing better to do than spread hate and division around the world? Or is this what Rupert wants?
@PhilMyers53@Andrew00344210 Totally behind Sir Keir. Have already blocked Labour MP who are backing Burnham. Don’t want to hear from any of them, thank you.

Let's do our bit of standing together on this social platform against the haters and dividers of Farage, Lowe, Musk, 10 names Robinson & the others.
Let's take them on together and fight them with true facts 💪
@GordonFielden@LindaR39@siennamarla Don't forget people like me who have no political home, but I have just joined Labour to express my support for @Keir_Starmer and the excellent job he is doing in very challenging times.
I think I am far from the only one that rejoices in the stability KS has brought us!
Change doesn't just happen. It happens with Labour
Since coming into office Labour has delivered 10million free breakfasts to school kids.
This would never have happened under the Tories.

"It's just wrong... and I can't help but think that it's about making money. The tickets themselves cost a fortune - far too expensive in my view. Think of the fans"
