I guess this still happens in FSD 14.
What is the Tesla seeing here, @Tesla_AI?
Happened a year and a half ago in a drive-thru: https://t.co/OeJh6gbNkP
This time it was in a parking lot.
@elonmusk@aelluswamy
What did Tesla vision see here?? It suddenly showed this big red blob and told me to STOP. I thought I was going to hit something, but nothing was there?? I passed right through whatever it was it was seeing.
Was it seeing a delayed image of the car in front of me and thought it didn’t move? Is it seeing a ghost car? It is seeing another car from an alternate dimension? What’s happening here? @aelluswamy@AIDRIVR@Tesla_AI@elonmusk
@G14821285@ray4tesla@Tesla_AI “I was doing what literally everyone does when they drive.”
You mean driving like this?
You seriously don’t see anything wrong with this?
Canadian Coast to Coast with Tesla FSD is done!
Myself, @DavidMoss and @scotsrule08 drove over 6,051km (3,760 miles) across Canada, through the Rockies, prairies, Canadian Shield, etc - all while using FSD.
Canada threw just about everything it had at us along the way… construction, animals on the road, poor weather, bad drivers, etc - and we still managed to pull it off.
This is a major milestone in autonomy and will hopefully help prove to people where we actually are today with regard to self-driving cars.
What a fun 5 days it’s been - I can’t believe how many people have shown up to support us along the way! The Tesla community is incredible.
We have arrive at our hotel for the night - JUST shy of 6,000km driven using Tesla FSD 100% of the drive.
Today was a tough day - the weather and road conditions here are no joke!
We had planned to make it to Enfield to supercharge tonight, but there’s no hotels rooms available there - so we are staying just outside of the town and will arrive there to begin the convoy into Halifax early tomorrow morning.
We will be at Tesla Halifax tomorrow at 10:30AM please come out to meet us, we would love to see you all.
So sorry if we missed stopping and visiting people today, but tomorrow will be one for the history books.
@scotsrule08@DavidMoss
Similar scenario, but we had the right of way because we entered the lane first. The other guy wasn’t paying attention and changed lanes into our lane. The Tesla immediately aborted the lane change and came back. It was so smooth and natural that it took me a second to see why it did that.

I recently went on a trip from Toronto to Montreal, and I used Mad Max mostly, and sometimes Hurry (depending on the speed limit and construction going on), and I found FSD will leave the left lane without me having to move it with signalling a lot more now. It seems to especially do this when it moves over to the left lane to pass someone. And if it’s camping in the left lane, and it notices someone approaching faster coming up from behind, it will change lanes to the right lane to let them pass.
@DavidMoss, @DevinOlsenn, and @Scotsrule08 are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the world’s first Canada coast to coast fully autonomous drive!
We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom
(3,760miles/6,051km)
This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
@atk0506@RichPerry4@CamCutApp Sorry, I was replying to you specifically that I thought that it moved over because of the wet spot. Not what the guy said above that lol
