Owners with the internal driver monitoring camera. How do you feel about the recent changes to Autopilot in 2023.44.30+ which is more strict on the driver paying full attention to the road.
Our favourite part of the 2023 Tesla Holiday Update (2023.44.30) is definitely the dashcam improvements.
The whole experience is now smoother and responsive. The viewer loads immediately and scrubbing through footage is now seamless with none of the previous skipping around.
@greentheonly Hmm.. the "intelligent speed assist" is relating to ADAS systems and a mandatory thing that came into affect in the EU and the UK recently. Looks like this is being added to comply with European laws.
@bd7349 @georgebetak @faizsays@washingtonpost Yes, the system now detects hands on cheat devices and will force disengage Autopilot and FSD Beta. If you continue to use one, you may lose access to FSD Beta.
@JimDoug04042273@Supreme_Owl_FTW@teslaeurope The UK are part of the United Nations and are signed up to the regulation. They could opt out of ECE 79 (the regulation which limits Autopilot) but they won't.
A sad day in the UK, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Singapore, Thailand and many more (albeit smaller) countries. We hope @Tesla can re-evaluate this. @elonmusk any thoughts? In the meanwhile Tesla have launched LHD Test Drives in the UK > https://t.co/iQBIGeyapb
