Just finished the podcast #SoldaStory. I’m floored. Especially the research saying leveled reading interventions HARM kids. I know MCPS uses Benchmark assessment and level literacy reading. I’m late to the podcast but wondering if anyone is digging into this locally @mxespey

We should pay our public leaders what they deserve and I'd argue the superintendent of @MCPS is worth $320,000 a year and then some. We should hold our public leaders accountable and monitor outcomes. But let's end this idea that public servants should be undervalued. 5/5
@DearDara Interesting- hadn't really thought of this. I can dismiss the the serial killer notions but what about snakes (my irrational fear!), falling and getting hurt, etc. More an easing of the "what if I need help --or my kid needs help-- and we're way out here all alone" stuff
@clhubes Until this very minute I completely blocked out my daughters meltdown at TSA when they made her put her blankie through the baggage scanner. It was a trip with my in-laws and although she got said blankie back within two minutes, she screamed for at least the next twenty. trauma
