@wildtests Look into the governments "tax free child care".
We use it and save ~vat cost. We play into an account and the government pays into the same account and the child care provide gets paid from that account.
The child care need to be registered for it which may be a draw back.

@heather_reiduff I have spent most of the day working. Managed to play some pool with the wife before she left for her night shift at the hospital. Kids are now all in bed (well the den they built in a bedroom) so a hot chocolate is planned for later

@heather_reiduff We had the same issue when I was a kid. In the end mum made a sign that could be hung on the outside of the door for when it was on reminding everyone that it was on. Later a clock face was added so it could tell people the on time.
