@MattHayesCFB Maybe he just a terrible coach. Was it bad culture in year 4? Or was it his terrible scheming which all his former staffers exploited, because an 11 year old has more sophisticated play calls. Raymond (5 ints) Harris (61 pass yds); Spence/bateman (3 sacks, 7 tfl, 1-11 on 3/4 dn).

@Brett_McMurphy It’s not that “players” are paid, it’s the type of players paid. NIL has flattened the curve because 60+ teams can keep 23 to 26 year olds on payroll in college. Meanwhile UGA, Bama, and OSU bluechippers keep going to NFL every 3 years. Age and development matters in football.

@AllKindsWeather Compared to BN when I was genuinely perplexed as to whether he had any situational awareness whatsoever. But for complete dumb luck they should have lost one more game a season to Utah, SC, Ole Miss, and MSU. All of which had plays/decisions where the opponent gifted the game!

@AllKindsWeather I just want to document I was here when IAKOW and BOG agreed on something! The Zooker had six Top-11 wins (5 away from swamp) and recruited a ton of talent. Lost too many games they had no business losing, but I don’t ever recall feeling like he didn’t know what he was doing.
