i dare you to be as delusional as possible for 30 days. compliment strangers. ask for things that feel out of your reach. take shot after shot after shot. you won’t hit them all, but you’ll hit a couple. but what you hit isn’t the point. it’s about rewiring what you see as possible. when you remove your self imposed limits, you realize they were never real to begin with. anything is possible my friend. but it’s up to you to pursue it.
The all-time great baseball player Ichiro Suzuki used to train exclusively with these machines.
He would say, “When young players lift heavy barbells, they build strength that their throwing motion cannot use. Then they force that strength into the throw. That causes injury.”
Sounds suspect, but it's hard to argue with Ichiro's results.
