It's apparently very common to help prevent close quarters spread of sickness. My iteration (2006) showed no signs of sickness so we didn't get the "peanut butter" jab.

That's why many of us didn't have it. Nobody in my basic unit showed signs of sickness, so no need for the blanket antibiotic.
