The art of permanent data storage. We build tools and libraries for the #permaweb and the @ArweaveTeam community.

[Arweave Ecosystem @ArweaveEco]

Introducing the Permaweb Payment Protocol (P3)!

P3 is a generic way for payments to be made for #permaweb infrastructure services, but it does much more than that:

- Enables service discovery 🧲
- Creates service markets ⚖️
- It is completely extensible 🧩

The framework of an open, international state is emerging organically.

It is not decentralized if the dev has to run/continually pay for their own infrastructure.

1/ Today is a huge step forward for gateway infrastructure in the Arweave ecosystem!

Introducing Arg8!

Currently in beta, Arg8s are lightweight, cost efficient gateways that let you browse the #permaweb and access apps.

Let's Go! 👇

3/ Anyone can run a P3 node that provides services to this distributed gateway network.

By functioning as either a service node or an 'edge' node, operators can focus on receiving rewards for being the 'backend infrastructure' of this distributed gateway, or a frontend.

@djwhitt Not yet, but it will released soon. We want to get feedback before the release of the source code, to make sure things are at a stable level before continuing with all that is coming for Arg8.

@xylophonezy Yes! Hoping to get feedback before the release of the source code, to make sure things are at a stable level before continuing with all that is coming for with Arg8.

[Textury @TexturyOrg]

A lot more is coming soon for Arg8, stay tuned! ♾

[Textury @TexturyOrg]

Because of Arg8 being still in beta, we ask for the Arweave ecosystem to help us improve Arg8 by sending anything that you think is missing or is responding differently from https://t.co/HmXv5I6iXS , also, we might turn off and on often for improvements and updates.
